Design-Build for MNR Outlying Stations Audio, Visual, and Facility Enhancements
This project consisted of design and construction services for security, audio-visual, and facility enhancements at various Metro-North Railroad (MNR) stations. The CSI program consisted of multiple projects that streamlined and upgraded head-end systems, network functions, and station security and communication equipment. Where these systems are used to inform MNR customers, the result provided an accurate, consistent, and uniform experience at all MNR facilities.

Completed Tasks

- This Package 6, included the design, furnishing, and installation of conduit, cable, and equipment in support of the Fiber Optic Cable System, Security Systems on the Security Network, and Public Address/Visual information System (PA/VIS) at 16 stations as a part of the base Contract and 4 stations as options.
- Work also included upgrades to North White Plains (NWP) Room 217 – Video Storage Room, in preparation for housing the security head end.
- The Consultants provided electrical engineering and CAD services for the design of Communications systems at 8 Base contract stations: Morris Heights, Spuyten Duyvil, Tarrytown, Ossining, Melrose, Tremont, Mamaroneck, and Port Chester.
